Why is the difference between Galaxy Press heat platen and others?
The heat platen on Galaxy Press is made of casting aluminum,with heating pipe inside of the heat platen.Thickness of heat platen is 19mm.
Why does the upper platen seem loose on my heat press?

How can I check the pressure setting on my heat press?
Lower the upper platen and lock it into place. Heat presses with a pressure readout will display the setting on the front panel. Pressure settings are 1-3 light, 4-6 medium and 7-9 firm.
Why is there an under-center pressure adjustment on the cap heat presses?
The under-center pressure adjustment, located beneath the heat press platen, allows pressure to be generated from the center outward, applying equal pressure to the entire platen.

How can I make sure my heat press has even pressure?
The key to even pressure is the way the upper platen is engineered. A center pressure adjustment, coupled with a floating heat platen ensures a “no-pinch” application result regardless of the thickness of the application substrate. One way to test for even pressure on a press is to put four squares of paper, one in each corner, and close the press. Try to pull out the papers. If one paper comes out easier than the others, it is possible that your platen is warped and not providing even pressure across the platen.
Why Galaxy mug press have two temperature setting?
All Galaxy mug press have two temperature setting, first one is stand-by temperature and second one is printing temperature.Stand-by temperature can let mug heater pre-heating at a lower temperature,which offer mug heater a longer operation life. Then once machine is closed, heater temperature will heat up to printing temperature and timer starts to count down,which show customer the real temperature on the mug body under cooking.
